Placement Process

STEP 1: Families to complete a family application form (which can be downloaded below)

Step 2: Phone consultation with the family to discuss family needs

STEP 3: After your initial consultation, we will organise a face-to-face meeting at your house. We will discuss further your needs and this also gives us an opportunity to see the Au Pair/Demi Pair living arrangements and ideally all family members.

STEP 4: We will start the search process and present you with suitable Au Pairs/Demi Pairs via email. There is the option for families to also meet and interview au pairs/demi pairs should they wish.

STEP 5: Once the match has been made, we will handle all the necessary documentation and ensure the au pair/demi pair also has the information they need about your family. They will also be part of a Genki Families training session which usually runs for a full morning.

STEP 6: Your Au Pair will be ready to start with your family.  We will give you a call in the first week to check how things are going and provide full support over the duration of the placement.

Please note it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 weeks to find a suitable candidate. We never guarantee that we can find someone, however, we will certainly do our best!
